Ashby Grimsley, assisted by her mother, Mrs. Gardner Mills, hosted a bridal shower for Miss Phyllis Ralls of Front Royal with 19 present. Miss Ralls and Ralph Foltz of Edinburg plan a wedding July 2 in Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey North and Ms. Bonnie Gore, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Richard North of Front Royal, spent Sunday in Lexington Park, Md., the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow North and family.

4-H Outing
The Chester Gap 4-H Club enjoyed the hospitality Thursday of Amy and Gregory Monahan at Boston when the Monahans offered their pond as a site for a 4-H outing.
The Chester Gap 4-H Club has been the only club to continue in the absence of an agent for five months this past year. Maybelle Gilkey, 4-H Leader, and Nancy Secrist, Extension Agent, felt the girls deserved some fun after working all year on sewing and community projects.
