A graveside service was held Sunday’ at Woodville Cemetery for Robert Lee “Jock” Brown of Woodville who died at his residence July 14, 1977. The Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer of Highland Springs conducted the service.
Mr. Brown, 71, was a lifelong resident r of Rappahannock and served fcs Treasurer of the county for 24 years, retiring in Februrary 1973. Prior to that he was Deputy Treasurer for 12 years. He was the son of the late James G. an(J Cora Reid Brown and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Francis Churchill Jones of Richmond; and two brothers, Julian L. Brown of Culpeper and Harold G. Brown of Winchester. Pallbearers were James W. Fletcher, Jr., Rhodes Brown; Jr., H. B. Wood, Jr., Harold G. Brown, Jr., C. J. Miller, ' Jr., William J. Brown, Aylett H. Buckner III and James W.- > Fletcher III.
