It’s summertime and time for county farm shows. These shows provide an opportunity for 4-H’ers and other youth 9 to 19 to exhibit the projects they have worked on the past year. Exhibits include livestock, crops, clothing and food.

There are three shows in this area you might like to attend: Fauquier County Junior Fair^August 11, 12 and 13, at the fairgrounds at Marshall;

Warren County Junior Fair—August 15 to 20, at the J. C. Camping Trip

The Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Youth Group is planning a weeklong camping trip to Niagara Falls, N. Y. Ten boys and girls will join Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sims, Mrs. Gracie Caliandro, and Mrs. Helen Holschuh on the trek beginning Sunday, July 24th. The group will camp in a church yard near the Falls, and at other campgrounds enroute. They will cross into Canada and explore the north shore of Lake Ontario before returning home July 31st.
