To the editor:
I would like to thank the citizens of Rappahannock who are supporting the Washington Recycling Center. The trailer is now back and ready to take on another load of paper, aluminum, tin, clear, green and brown glass.
There are many reasons all of us should get into the habit of recycling.
—Recycling saves the depletion of the natural resources in our earth.
—Recycling reflects a changing attitude in our country to stop waste.
—Recycling saves our county tax dollars by not using the dumpsters for recyclable materials.
— Recycling brings proceeds which this year will go toward the building fund of the Washington fire house.
I hope more people will make recycling a new habit in their households. It only takes a change toward awareness and a positive attitude to make recycling an
