Mrs. Hudson selected a formal gown of white and pink with a corsage of pink carnations, for her daughter’s wedding. Mrs. Smoot chose a long dress of blue organza and her corsage was of white carnations.
A reception followed in the social hall of the church where the wedding cake was cut and served by Mrs. John Eubank Jr. of Culpeper. Presiding at the punch bowls were Mrs. Peggy Smoot of Sperryville, Mrs. Earl Menefee of Warrenton, and Miss Cindy Leake of Culpeper. Miss Patsy Smoot of Sperryville was in charge of the guest book.
