Delores Dalton of Flint Hill ,has been appointed Center Director for Planning District Nine of the Valley of Virginia Consortium for Higher Education. District Nine encompasses the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock.
Mrs. Dalton’s primary duty will be to provide leadership in assessing current needs in off-campus adult education courses and programs within Planning District 9. As Center Director, Mrs. Dalton will be working with the institutions of higher education iivithin the Consortium area, namely: James Madison University, the University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Eastern Mennonite College and Germanna Community College. In addition, she will be working with public officials and various community groups.
