To enter the program, the farmowner must submit a statement of certification from the Clerk of the Court or other documentation and registration form to the county Farm Bureau. The forms will be reviewed by the county board of directors and recommended to the Virginia Farm Bureau president for recognition and publication. Registration forms will be available from the county Farm Bureau office.
Virginia Farm Bureau will continue to receive entries for the Bicentennial Farm certification through 1983 for annual recognition.
October 1 will be the deadline for registration for each year of the period.
All farms certified during the year will be recognized with a plaque presented at the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting.
