William A. Moore Jr., son of Mrs. Edna J. Moore of Flint Hill, has been promoted to senior master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.
Sergeant Moore, a deputy fire chief, is assigned at Fairchild AFB, Wash., with a unit of the Strategic Air Command.
The sergeant, a 1960 high school graduate, attended Pierce College, Woodland Hills, Calif., and the University of Maryland Far East Division in Japan.
