Mr. and Mrs. F. L Bowey have returned to their home after spending a week in Charleston and Gaffoey, S. C. where they attended die funeral of Mr. Bowey’s sister, Miss Lois Bowey. Tuesday the Boweys were guests for the day of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Ankers in Martinsburg, W. Va.
Mrs. Sarah Latham and Mrs. David Streagle joined other members of the family Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Cockerill in Herndon in celebration of the 87th birthday of Mrs. Latham’s mother, Mrs. C. C. Cockerill. All seven of Mrs. Cockerill's children were present.
John Sheffield returned to his home Friday after undergoing surgery on his hip in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
