Tlie varsity lady Panthers track team closed out the
season undefeated in regular
district competition with a
victory over Montevideo and
Page High Schools on May 1
at Montevideo. The girls
looked in good shape for the
district, regional and state
meets as they ran away with
most of the points, more than
doubling the score of their
closest opponent in the threeway
contest.
Highlight of the Rappahannock
team effort was Jamelle Prudhum's time of
26.8 seconds in the 220 yard run for a new school record. The old record was 27.6 seconds.
The Panthers swept two
events, placing first, second
and third in the high jump
and 440 yard run.
