Laude Society
Marshal Coates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Coates of Brightwood, was initiated into the Wood berry Forest Chapter of the Cum Laude Society on April 17. To qualify for entrance into the society an average of 3.5 or better must be maintained for the junior year and the first and second trimesters of the senior year.
The Cum Laude Society was founded in 1906 and Wood berry Forest became a member in 1952. Marsha is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers of Sperryville.
