Thelma M. Martin from Amissville received the Virginia Den Leader’s Training Award at the Annual Scouter Recognition Dinner held April 25 in Stephens City. Mrs. Martin joined with more than 325 Scouters in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Shenandoah Area Boy Scout Council in ceremonies attended by Virginia Governor John Dalton, Mrs. Dalton and Delegate Andy Guest of Front Royal.
