Extension A^rnt Piedmont Research Field Day

Next Thursday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., many area farmers will be looking over the research trials at the Piedmont Research Station just south of Orange, Virginia on Route 15. They will see corn test trials (106 different hybrids), soybean varieties, crown vetch as a mulch for no till corn, no till and pasture renovation machinery, Alfalfa varieties and management studies.

Virginia Tech Extension Agronomist will explain the application of this research and there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

1 always look forward to this event, along with the Forage Field Days at Middleburg, as an opportunity to keep up with the latest area research and a time to visit old friends from neighboring counties.

We will be leaving the Extension Office in Washington, Virginia 8:45 а. m. Come and bring a neighbor and we can pool transportation.
