Thomas Kuhnle of Hoflein, a suburb of Vienna, Austria, returned to his home Wednesday following a two week stay with Mrs. Jewelle Magarity of Castleton and Mrs. Alma Jones of Culpeper.
Mrs. Magarity and Mrs. Jones met Thomas, age 16, and his family when visiting Austria in May and June. During this time, they learned that the young man had aspirations of traveling to this country and sharpening his command of the English language which he has studied for the last sis years.
While staying alternately with Mrs. Magarity and Mrs. Jones, Thomas was shown points of interest in the area and was able to learn firsthand American customs and language.
