Parks Close
The Department of Conservation and Economic Development. Division of Parks, has announced that Labor Day weekend, September 2 through 4, will mark the close of summer facilities at Virginia State Parks.
Day-use facilities, such as beaches, snack bars and restaurants, will be open through Labor Day. Admission and parking fees will remain in effect through September 4.
Picnicking, hiking, fishing and nature study will be available throughout the winter season. Camping facilities will be available until December 4 and State Park cabins can be rented until October 2.
