Officers

; Officers to serve the Rappahannock Unit, American Cancer Society for the 1978-79 fiscal year include Mrs. Roger Torneden of Flint Hill, president and Mrs. Helen Snead, Washington, first vice president and Mrs. Ethel Bailey, second vice president.

The secretary is Mrs. Mary R. Miller, Flint Hill and Treasurer is Mrs. Beverly Massie, Amissville. Mrs. Bailey also serves on the public information committee with Mrs. Daphne Hutchinson who heads publicity.

Mrs. Roberta Spalding of Flint Hill is chairman for the Memorial Gifts committee and Mrs. Dolly Biddle is in charge of the Loan Closet.

Chairperson of the upcoming spring Cancer . Crusade in the county will be Mrs. Dorothy Mank and Mrs. Pauline Bruce is yice chairman of the campaign. Both are from Washington. Mrs. Mank with Mrs. Torneden are Division Delegates.

Members of the Board of Directors whose terms expire in 1979 include Mrs. Howard Butler, Mrs. Cletus Clark, Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, all of Sperryville; Mrs. Bailey with Mrs. Kermit Weakley of Washington; Paul L. Miller, Miss Ellen Mustoe, Mrs. Spalding and Mrs. Joseph Scherschel, all of Flint Hill.

Directors whose terms expire in 1980 include Mrs. Robert Anderson, Woodville; Mrs. William Bear, Mrs. Bruce, Rev. Jennings Hobson, Mrs. Hutchinson, Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Mrs. Mank, Sidney Mank, lan Pryde, Mrs. Snead and Mr. Weakley, all of Washington.
