Horton
Graveside services for Mrs. Novella Richards Horton of Culpeper were conducted Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, by the Rev. Edward Hawkins.
Mrs. Horton, 79, died Saturday, July 28, 1979, at the residence of her daughter near Culpeper. She was the daughter of the late Perry Richards and the late Sarah Corbin Richards and the widow of George Biedler Horton.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Fincham and Mrs. Oscar Settle, both of Culpeper, and Mrs. Frances Stringfellow of Boston; two sons, Roy Horton of Richmond and Willie McFarland of Sperryville; three stepchildren, Russell Horton of Germantown, Md., James Horton of Leesburg and Mrs. Lillie Deal of Culpeper, 11 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.
