Weekly Film

Films of the Week at the Washington Parish Hall, Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. will include “Adventures of Baby Fox,” produced by Arne Sucksdorff. Narrated in verse, this beautifully photographed film tells the story of a day in the life of a baby fox. The camera also catches the variety of life in the forest, insects, birds and small animals.

Adventures of Willie Skunk: The charming story of Mother Skunk and her babies in the woods and fields, featuring Willie Skunk, who gets into all sorts' of difficulties.

The Hoarder: This is an animated film about a bluejay who takes whatever his beak can grasp and carry. Even the sun in the sky is unsafe from his consuming greed. There is a moral about greed when the bluejay learns a lesson.

Pony Penning on Chincoteague: This film shows a community project—the island roundup, penning and sale of the Chincoteague wild ponies.
