Mrs. Lucy Creel of Culpeper and Mrs. Katie Wayland were Friday dinner guest of their sister, Mrs. Lucille Corbin in Madison.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Deal of Sperryville were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wayland.
Mrs. Ruth Rowles of Spring Lake, N. C. arrived Sunday to spend a few days with her brother-in-law and sister. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Johnson.
Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rooper, Randy and Billy of Culpeper. Mr. Rooper was guest speaker at Woodville Baptist Church Sunday, while the Rev. B. Gale Titchenell was on vacation.
Mrs. H. B. Wood Jr. has returned home after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Blanton in Amelia. Saturday evening Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance and Mrs. Brown Miller, both of Sperryville, joined Mrs. Julia Wood and the H. B. Wood family for dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Silas

Junior Varsity girl’s basketball try-outs and practice will be held August 10 at Rappahannock County High School from 9:30-11:30. All interested girls in grades 8 through 10, are asked to attend.
