Bargains, prizes, good music and some of the last ten cent hot dogs on record drew hundreds of county residents to the grand opening celebrations for the new home of the Rappahannock Farmers’ Cooperative. On Friday night and Saturday, over 480 adults registered for prizes. The concession did a brisk business, selling 1,200 steamed ballpark franks. With hotdogs for a dime and Cokes for a nickel, inflation was squeezed right out of the food booth.
