Laura Erin Thorpe of Bedford served as flower girl and wore a long white dress smocked in yellow and carried a basket of yellow daisies. James Aurick Vest, Jr. of Bedford, God-son of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Nuptial music was provided by soloist Mrs. Gary Streable of Altavista and Mrs. George Thaxton Parker, organist, of Bedford.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents entertained with a reception at the Bedford County Club.
Guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. William Raymond Minnix of Bedford. The bride is a graduate of James Madison University and is employed as a speech therapist by the Campbell County School System.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Lynchburg College and the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy and is employed by Moneta Pharmacy. The couple will reside in Bedford.
