THE RAPPAHANNOCK FARMERS’ COOPERATIVE officially opened its new store Friday evening with a ribbon, cutting at six o clock. Present for the grand opening were Ted Gore, general manager of Culpeper Farmers Cooperative, parent firm of four associated establishments; Ranny Aylor, assistant manager of the new Rappahannock branch; W. A. Spillman, president of the Culpeper Fanners’ Cooperative; Col. E. P. Luke, chauman of the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors; Doug Smoot, assistant general manager and Gordon Thornhill, manager of the Rappahannock firm with the spacious new store located on Route 211 west of Washington.
