RLEP this year will recognize two Rappahannock landowners and citizens for outstanding contributions to environment protection. Engraved conservation awards will be presented the George McGhee’s for creating the Windrush Wildlife Sarictuary and to Peter Kramer for his work in historic restoration.
A short business session will conclude the meeting with reports and election of directors for the coming year. Everyone is invited to attend and join in the discussions.
RLEP was formed in 1970 as a citizens organization to work for the conservation and appreciation of Rappahannock’s natural and historic resources. Membership is open to everyone without charge. A newsletter is published regularly and a subscription is free with a yearly tax deductible contribution.
