The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an off-white dress of polyester gauge, made by her aunt, Mrs. Kenneth Ellison. She carried a bouquet of mums, tube roses, sword flowers, roses, bridal wreath and ivy arranged on a purse her grandmother Walter carried at her wedding.
Honor attendant was her sister. Miss Joyce Walter Heflin, who wore a peach dress of polyester gauge, which she made. Her flowers were mums and roses.
Benjamin F. Whitmer of Hume served as best man. Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Henry C. Lane Jr. of Marshall.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home.
The bride is a graduate of Fauquier High School and Northern Virginia Business College, and is employed by the Dulles International Customhouse Brokerage Corporation.
The bridegroom attended Fauquier High School and is employed by Foster’s Exxon in Warrenton. The couple is residing in Marshall.
