PUBLIC NOTICE MO The Legal Services Corporation is a private, non-profit organization established by Congress to provide financial support for legal assistance to poor people in civil matters In the near future the Corporation will be allocating limited funds to establish new programs, or expand existing programs, to serve eligible clients in various unserved counties throughout the United States Counties in Virginia under consideration for this purpose include: Arlington Carroll Clarke Culpepper Essex Fairfax Fauquier Frederick Gloucester Grayson King & Queen King William Loudoun Madison Mathews Middlesex Orange Page Prince William Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren Alexandria City Chesapeake City Fairfax City Falls Church City Galax City Winchester City Proposals to provide such services are invited from all interested groups Such proposals and completed grant application materials must be received by the Corporation on or before Friday, October 12, 1979 Grant application forms and additional information may be obtained by written request to: Regional Director Legal Services Corporation Northern Virginia Regional Office 1730 North Lynn Street, Suite 600 Arlington, VA 22209 The public will have an opportunity to discuss the proposals, and the subject of legal services generally, #t an open meeting in or near each service area under consideration unless it would be impractical to do so The time and place of such meetings will be announced at a later date.
