Furr
Willie Ashby Furr, Sr., 66, of Reva died Friday, January 18, 1980 at a hospital in Richmond.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper by the Rev. Harold Eden. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Furr was retired from Piedmont Chevrolet in Culpeper where he, was a mechanic for 33 years. He was also a member of VFW post 2524 and a member of Hie Novum Baptist Church in Tleva.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Faye Furr of Reva; four sons, Willie A. Furr, Jr. of Laurel, Md., Jimmy Woodward ,of Rixeyville, Frederick Lewis Furr and Charles Ashton Furr, both of Reva; two daughters, Miss Fleda May Furr and Miss Sharon Fay Furr both of Reva. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Utz of Madison and Mrs. Rosie Schindel of Springfield; and four grandchildren.
Finks
Funeral services for Mrs. Evaline Turbyfill Finks, 67, of Charlotte, N.C. were conducted Sunday at Clore Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Mrs. Finks died Thursday, January 17, 1980 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, N.C., after a long illness.
She was a native of Virginia, and the daughter of the late Malcolm and Annie Ford Turbyfill.
