The doctor conducts routine monthly clinics in Orange, Fauquier and Rappahannock and special clinics in Culpeper and Madison. Usually, regional health department directors are more desk-bound than LeGarde. "Most directors just aren’t interested in holding clinics,” Rappahannock’s public health nurse, Frances Thornton, said.
