“Do you want to know why it was locked?” interjected vocational education teacher "Skip” Ford. He reported that vandals nad broken the window out of the door two months ago. The pane of glass hasn’t yet been replaced, he said, allowing anyone to reach a hand through and open the door from the inside. Since this entrance at the rear of the school in the vocational education wing can’t be locked, it is kept chained. Ford said, adding that several other doors in the school are also broken.
