Rappahannock’s trash problems came up again last week, this time during discussion of the county’s first comprehensive plan at the planning commission’s meeting Wednesday.
"There’s one thing we’ve gone way around to steer clear of and that’s a landfill,” said planner E. P. Luke during a review of the comprehensive plan draft chapter on future needs for public facilities. "It seems to me that it's a county planning matter,’’ he said, proposing that some mention of a landfill be included in the comprehensive plan.
