Masterson reported that the above ground tank will cost $108.75. In addition to the new tank, the board also approved an appropriation of approximately $375 for an electric pump.
Make-up Work
Acting on a recommendation from Eastham, the board agreed that students automatically suspended from school under the drug and alcohol policy will not be punished further by having points deducted from their grade average. Eastham’s motion stipulates that the suspension of a student in compliance with school board policy shall not alter the student’s previously qpmed grades in any manner.
Bloomer noted that suspended students have the right to keep up with and turn in assignments. The school board will determine at its subsequent discipline hearing, however, if all work turned in will be counted for credit.
