Father Du Castillon of Washington lectured to Wakefield students February 22 on medieval philosophy and theology.
The History of Ideas class for juniors and seniors at Wakefield deals with the development of Western thought and history from ancient to modern times.
Father Du Castillon spoke to students about the role of the Catholic Church during the Middle Ages and the contribution of such philosophers as Thomas Aquinas, William of Ockham and others who helped to build the Christian faith with their ideas and writings.

Mrs. Elizabeth Streagle, Shannon and Marc and Mrs. Sarah Latham, joined by Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Huff of Manassas, Sally Mann and Vincent Nicholson of McLean and Mr. and Mrs. David Hoadley and Sarah Kearns of Falls Church, had dinner Saturday at the Japanese Steak House in Rosslyn.
