The Rappahannock welfare board voted unanimous approval on Friday to a proposed social services budget for 1980-81 that totals $5,000 less than the current year’s, a drop of slightly more than two percent.
Proposed expenditures for the fiscal year that begins on July 1 add up to $175,068. Appropriations for the year ending June 30 total $180,070.
Local funds needed to support the proposed budget show a slight increase.
