Wines
John Elmer Wines, 58, of Front Royal, died Friday, July 25, 1980, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the First Assembly of God Church, Front Royal, by the Rev. Alden Yates. Burial was at Chester Gap Cemetery.
Mr. Wines was born July 22, 1922, in Chester Gap, son of Addie Williams Wines and the late John F. Wines. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Front Royal.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his widow, Margie Mae Wines; one son, Michael Wines of Chester Gap; two stepsons, Freddie Smith Jenkins and Coleman Jenkins, both of front Royal; one daughter, Bonnie Sue Funk of Front Royal; four brothers, Samuel Wines, Robert Wines and Gene Wines, all of Chester Gap and Willie Wines of Front Royal; seven sisters, Mrs. Bernice » Williams, Mrs. Odessa Campbell, Mrs. Patsy Williams, Mrs. Nancy Knight Wines and Mrs. Evelyn Hickerson, all of Chester Gap, Mrs. Eulice Frazier and Mrs. Geneva Merchant, both of Front Royal.
