The Rappahannock Planning Commissioners have set mid-December as their target date for a recommendation on adoption of a land use taxation ordinance.
At the August 21 meeting, chairman H. S. Barksdale appointed Allen Stokes to head the commission’s use value study committee with assistance from new member David Thornhill.
The supervisors last month requested the planning commission to investigate use value taxation. The move was
