commissioners appeared to be to take up the subject during the postponed review of the zoning and subdivision ordinances.

Ski Area Plans

Col. Luke volunteered to check with zoning administrator Evan McNear on copies of development plans for the ski area property in Harris Hollow.

Barksdale reported that he’d received a call from Washington attorney Sharon Genebach Luke checking on the status of a rezoning application from Jerry Mills for a garage on Route 729.

According to the planning commission chairman, the attorney said her client had filed his rezoning request and paid the required fees and now wanted to know when the commission was going to act on the matter.

“I told her we couldn't do anything until the application was forwarded to us (by the zoning administrator).’’ said Barksdale.

Luke reported that the supervisors haven’t received any information on the garage either. “It's the same thing on the ski area. Evidently, they prepared the plats, paid their fees and nothing's happened.” he said, adding that he'd check on both matters with McNear.
