Robert Eastham asked for the effect of the honors English courses offered in 11 th and 12th grades for the past two years.

“In my opinion, it’s been effective. It prompted my recommendation to extend honors English down to the eighth grade level." Bloomer said. “Students going to college need a different preparation from those entering the world of work, just like you feed a work horse differently from a racehorse.”
