Dickey Teaches

Military History

Military History, a newly created elective course at Wakefield Country Day School at Huntly, has been organized,and is being taught by Col. Robert Dickey, U. S. Marine Corps (Ret.) who lives at Huntly.

Col. Dickey is a graduate of St. George’s School in Newport, R. I. and of the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. He served on active duty in Korea and Vietnam. His last assignment before retirement was as Chief-of-Staff of the U. S. Marine Base at Quantico.

The course, offered for twelve weeks during the winter term, is designed to instruct students in the strategies and tactics of warfare down through history.
