Rappahannock County showed a four per cent increase over the previous year in the number of housing units authorized during 1980, according to figures released by the RappahannockRapidan Planning District Commission.
Along with neighboring Culpeper, Rappahannock was the only other county in the planning district to report increased housing construction. The total number of housing units authorized during 1980 by local building officials throughout the planning district decreased 15 per cent compared to the same period of 1979.
