Just how far will this have to be carried before teachers, students, administrators and patent volunteers can leave an audit trail for the accountant to follow to the unqualified audit so sought after by the school board? If we’re not careful, we’ll have our children coming home with pockets stuffed full of receipts instead of heads filled with knowledge. The three R’s in Rappahannock schools may eventually stand for receipts, receipts, receipts.
