Mrs. W. H. Cordle has returned home after visiting Mr. and Mrs. David Coidle and Devon in Williamsburg and her brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Morrow in Norfolk. The Morrows are guests this week of Mrs. Cordle.

NAACP Meeting
The Rappahannock NAACP branch will meet Friday, August 28, at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Community Center. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.
Musical Program
The Mens Chorus of Promise Land Baptist Church near Washington will present a program at the First Baptist Church in Washinton on Saturday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. to end the Penny Rally. The public is invited.
