O’Bannon, Jack, Ginny and Andy returned to their home in Richmond Thursday after spending several days with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. O’Bannon, Beth and Martha Lou.
Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Vest were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Larry White and Susan in Gainesville.
Mrs. Julia Wood and Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance had lunch Sunday at the Teepee in Sperryville and later visited Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett in the Orange Nursing Home.
Gregg and Philip Daczewitz attended 4-H camp at Powell’s Fort last week. They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz. Mrs. Daczewitz and Derek were Wednesday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Don Fisher and family in Oakton.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Corker of Beaverdam were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Collier Fox of Luray were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clark and Misty.
Woman’s Club
To Meet
The Rappahannock Woman’s Club will hold its monthly meeting at the home of Gloria Smith near Sperryville on Tuesday, August 25, at 8 p.m. Members will meet at the Old Hollow Grocery at 7:40 to car pool to the Smith’s residence.
Bake Sale
A yard and bake sale will be held Saturday, August 22, beginning at 10 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frye in Washington. The sale will be sponsored bv the members of the Queen’s Rally and all proceeds will benefit the Usher Board of First Baptist Church, Washington.
