bride. Their gowns were light blue and they carried nosegays of pink and blue silk flowers.
Mr. Sims was best man for his son and ushers were Mike Johnston of Culpeper, Randy Sims of Boston, brother-inlaw and brother, respectively, of the bridegroom; Gary Leake of Sperryville and Doug Butler of Markham, a cousin of the bride.
Tamela Butler, cousin of the bride, was flower girl and Paul Butler, her brother, was ringbearer.
A reception followed in the church social hall where the cake was served by Mrs. Jean Gibbs of Virginia Beach while Miss Kathy Winkler served punch and Miss Angela Butler attended the guest book.
Mr. and Mrs. Sims are making their home in Charlottesville where both will be attending the University of Virginia.
Bridge Party
Mrs. Roy L. Reeve entertained the Sperryville Bridge Club Friday evening at her home.
Guest were Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. E. A. McNear, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. Field Benton, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen and Mrs. Dean Irvine.
Prize winners were Mrs. McNear, Mrs. Metzinger and Mrs. Irvine.
