Estabrook said he had not been able to prepare a report on all the school system’s insurance coverage in time for the meeting but would have this information for board members within a week. He said he also would have information on building security for the September meeting.
The board approved paying its monthly bills, but before the vote Eastham noted his concern over the relationship between the school system and Clatterbuck.
“This board member would like to see this administration put Mr. Robert Clatterbuck under some sort of contract if he’s going to continue working for this board,” he said. “I’m not contesting this one. I am suggesting this administration take on the nature of the arrangement. I have never failed to approve any warrant. It is the only case of this kind that we have, and I would like to see it put in order.”
