the greased watermelon. In the end the green team was victorious but there was watermelon for everyone.
By this time dark clouds were approaching and lightning flickered, so out came the kids from the pool. The rain let loose and we all ran to the cafeteria for cover. Some people were soaked trying to bring in crafts and birdhouses which were left out for display.
As the storm raged on we were dry and singing old camp favorites. Awards were given those who had earned them and pictures were taken. Then it was time to go with echos of "goodbye” and “see you next year.”
The week went by quickly but was a lot of fun. To those who were there this year, all I can say is thanks and see you next year!
