Bryan. In later years, William Jennings Bryan honored the home of his father and grandfather by giving two chairs to the Thornton Gap Baptist Church in Old Hollow.
That the bricks are hand made is attested by one brick bearing the perfect paw print of a long ago colonial dog. This brick is on exhibit in the building.
Lately, the Society has seen an increase in its collection of papers. The Society’s librarian, Cathy Knuepfer, and its president, Helen Holschuh spend every Thursday afternoon working on catologing the many pictures, genealogies, letters, documents, etc.
