Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley have been making frequent visits to Charlottesville to visit Mrs. Paul Newton who is a patient in Martha Jefferson Hospital. Visitors of the Rileys last week were Fern Marcil of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Newton’s father, and Paul Marcil of Ottawa, Canada, her brother. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest were in New Market Sunday to attend an arts and craft show and have dinner. Miss Kay Lawrence was a weekend visitor of Mark Scruggs in Richmond and attended the State Fair.
Mrs. Sarah Latham and Shannon Streagle, joined by Mrs. Eddie Huff and John of Manassas, attended a bazaar and luncheon Saturday at the Floris Methodist Church near Herndon. Mrs. Latham was a dinner guest of Mrs. Peggy Clark in Flint Hill Saturday evening and attended homecoming Sunday at the Flint Hill Methodist Church.
Mrs. R. H. Rowzie has returned to her home after being hospitalized in Warrenton for several weeks and in Fairfax for tests.
Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Hutton spent Tuesday in Richmond.

Senior Citizens *
Day Oct. 11
Senior Citizen’s Day will be observed at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church on Sunday, October 11 for the 11 a.m. worship. The choir from the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper will present a program of music. There will be individual numbers as well as group presentations.
The public is extended a cordial iavitation which is not limited to senior citizens, but all ages who enjoy music. A luncheon will follow the service.
