and those in charge of the Center hope that its construction will enable many more of them to take part in 4-H activities.
Those 'in Rappahannock and Warren County 4-H clubs will be the groups most affected by the Center’s completion because of its proximity.
The Center is located in Harmony Hollow about five miles south of Front Royal, right next to the Shenandoah National Park.
When it is completed, the 4-H center will be able to accommodate almost any club activity.
It will include six winterized cabin clusters which will house up to 90 persons each, one winterized cabin for infirmary and staff housing, a main lodge with a dining hall, conference facilities and sleeping accommodations for 120 persons, an animal center including horse stable and riding ring, recreational facilities—pool, playing fields, tennis courts, trails, rifle and archery ranges—a manager’s residence and primitive camping sites.
