Bridge Club

Mrs. L. J. Kilby entertained members of the Sperryville Bridge Club Friday evening at her home.

ThoSe playing were Mrs. W. H. Cordle. Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Roy L. Reeve, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. Field Benton and Mrs. Frances Tabler.

Prize winners were Mrs. Tabler, Mrs. Metzinger and Mrs. Johnson.

Sue Slaughter

Group Meeting

The Sue Slaughter Group of Shiloh Association’s Woman’s Missionary Union will meet Thursday, October 8, at the Woodville Baptist Church beginning at 7:30 p.m. The speaker will be Miss Sharon Peddicord, a missionary to north Brazil.

Since Miss Peddicord is a young missionary on her first furlough, she should be especially appealing to young people who are urged to attend and hear her. Members of the Sue Slaughter Group churches, their pastors and friends are invited to attend.
