NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries has ordered to be published, 1*6 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, the followed proposed changes in Commission regulations applicable Statewide. A public hearing on the advisability of adopting, each of the proposed changes, or any part thereof, will be held at the offices of the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, 4010 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia, beggining at 9:30 a.m. on October 16, 1981, at which any interested citizens present shall be heard. If the Commission is satisfied that proposed changes in its regulations, or any parts thereof, are advisable, in the form in which published or as amended as a result of the public hearing, the Commission may adopt each such proposal, acting upon the proposals separately or in block. CHAPTER 23, Fishing Generally.
Amend Regulation R23-3. Size limit, to reduce the minimum size limit on northern pike to twenty inches; to become effective January 1, 1982.

Size limit, to eliminate the existing twelve inch minimum size limit on smallmouth, largemouth and spotted bass on the South Fork Shenandoah River from the confluence of the North and South Rivers below Port Republic downstream to its confluence with the North Fork Shenandoah R> 'er at Riverton. Size limit, to make it unlawful to have any smallmouth, largemouth or spotted bass from eleven to thirteen inches in length, both inclusive, in one's possession on the South Fork Shenandoah River from the Luray Power Dam near Luray downstream to its confluence with the North Fork Shenandoah River at Riverton. To become effective January 1,1982.

Amend Regulation R-24-8 to read as follows:
(This amendment will become effective January 1, 1982.) It shall be unlawful to fisHTn waters designated as trout waters or in the waters covered by R24-10.1, R24-10.2 and R24-10.3 after the daily creel limit of trout is obtained.
