The marriage of Mollie Kay Dennis of Washington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Dennis of Orange, to Larry Steven Welch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larrie L. Welch of Flint Hill, took place September 12, 1981, in the Flint Hill Methodist Church.

The Rev. Peter Weems performed the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Sandra Hawkins of Front Royal played the wedding music.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory satin gown with a pleated front insert bordered by lace. Lace appliques adorned the bodice, sleeves and train. A satin juliet cap covered with lace held her fingertip veil and her bouquet was white roses, stephanotis and baby’s breath.
